For real this time!

After a much too long absence, I wanted to let the group know we are back. I want to thank all of you who have patiently waited for another chapter in "Wounded" and to let all of you know we are about halfway through chapter 22 and should finish it sometime next week. I contacted our editor to see if he is still interested in doing the edits for us, if so I think you should see the chapter in about a week and a half.

There were many things that conspired to keep us from writing. I had two extended trips away from Moscow to places in the middle east. Nastya was extremely tolerant of both of them, and had both Olga and Nana here to help her.  However they both made me aware that you don't leave your pregnant wife to go off running around the world.

And of course her pregnancy has been taking a toll on our writing time. When she gets home from school/work at night she's very tired and hadn't been too interested in writing.

We started reading "Wounded" again about two weeks ago, just so that the story line would be fresh in our minds and then started writing again on Monday. It was hard at first to get back into the swing of things, but now it's as enjoyable as it has always been for us. And we still have plans for at least two more books after "Wounded."

That's about all the news concerning the book, here are some other things that have happened.

1. We gave the cabin in Colorado to our Godson Ivan as a trust.
2. We now own a sizable chunk of land in the Gorny Altai region of Russia and we will build a house there this summer.
3. I am going to take several months off this summer and we are going to go to Brazil to see some of my mom's family (to show off the baby) and then we want to look at Costa Rica. If we like the mountains of Costa Rica we will probably look at buying some land there and eventually build a house there.
4. Yes we still both dearly love America and we will always be Americans. We still own a house in Colorado Springs and in Denver and we still have our businesses in America. But for right now we are very much enjoying living the expat lifestyle.
5. I almost forgot to say anything about my arm. That's because other than some aches and pains and sensitivity to the cold it's no longer an issue. Yeah I can tell there is still some nerve damage, but I am amazed at how well my body has healed.

Thanks again for reading our books and for patiently waiting for the next chapter.
